ThreadX is a leading manufacturer based in Karachi, Pakistan’s hub for leather production and export. We specialize in producing all types of raw and finished leather, as well as a wide range of leather garments, including men’s and women’s jackets, coats, gloves, shoes, and accessories. With decades of expertise, we are skilled in both manual craftsmanship and CAD modeling, ensuring precision from the initial design to the final product. Tannery
Today, ThreadX operates a contracted tannery in the Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi, with a monthly capacity of 500,000 square feet. This facility provides direct employment to approximately 110 workers, ensuring flexibility, high-quality production, and timely delivery to meet customer demands efficiently.
The Tanning Department processes raw skins and hides received from the raw stores. This involves multiple stages, including soaking, fleshing, deliming, bating, pickling, chrome tanning, and piling. The entire tanning process takes approximately five days for skins and seven days for hides.

Each type of leather is processed differently based on the specific article. The Chief Technician determines the appropriate methods and their sequence. Common finishing processes include toggling, staking, dry milling, embossing, coating, polishing, buffing, and spraying.
Garment Unit
ThreadX’s garment unit operates across multiple locations, including Korangi, Godra, and Shah Faisal. Our facilities house cutting, stitching, finishing, waxing, inspection, and packing departments, all managed by highly skilled and trained employees to ensure top-quality production. With 150 machines, including embroidery machines, we have the capacity to manufacture 5,000 garments per month within our own premises.

Using both manual techniques and CAD-based cutting technology, we meticulously prepare leather panels according to design specifications. The Logistics Department at ThreadX is dedicated to ensuring timely and efficient delivery of our products to customers worldwide. With a modern packing facility and flexible shipping options, we can ship items either flat-packed in cartons or hanging, by both sea and air.
